This Smart Velux loft conversion includes a double bedroom, spacious wardrobes and a luxury ensuite bathroom.
We were approached by the clients who had only purchased this new build in Brentwood a year earlier. They had decided to extend into to roof given the brilliant head height and space for further bedroom.
To make the room functional, we installed large eaves cupboard under the roof to make the most of that space while avoiding clutter in the room and the rest of the house.
A re-shuffle was required to the first floor to allow for a staircase to be constructed requiring of extending the landing by reducing their master bedroom marginally. We fitted three large velux windows in the roof for the bedroom and one also for the en suite to give brilliant light to the new space.
The final touches included glass screen for the wet room, matching chrome stair spindles and a wall-mounted wide screen television that reduces clutter even more by removing the need for tables.
